KASHMIR TERROR Srinagar : LeT terrorist ' Hilal Moulwi ' killed in an Encounter

In a major fillip to the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, a noted LeT terrorist Hilal Moulvi was killed in an encounter in Srinagar today. Three Jammu and Kashmir police also sustained injuries during the gunfight.

Police said that based on a specific
tip off, a residential house in the
densely populated downtown Srinagar, was cordoned off. But
when Moulvi was asked to surrender, he fired from his automatic weapon leading to a gunfight and his subsequent killing.

Hilal Moulvi is reportedly wanted
in many killings in North Kashmir
including attacks on Sarpanches.
The encounter is a second major
terrorist related incident in Srinagar this year. (India Terrorism, Terrorist activities)
