India Business Controversy! Government's FDI push too little, too late: Azim Premji

direct investment (FDI) in multi-
brand retail was not worthwhile
given the acrimony and frustration
it created in the opposition, Wipro
chairman Azim Premji told NDTV
Profit said at the World Economic
Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He
said that while the government's
recent spate of reforms, including
the relaxation of FDI norms is an
indication of progress that the
government hopes to bring about,
the steps were "too little, too
