Hundreds of steel and ancillary units face
closure in Andhra Pradesh as they say they
cannot pay a hefty fuel surcharge imposed by
the government. This comes at a time when the
industry is reeling under a prolonged power
crisis and they are barely managing to survive. Lakhs of people could be out of job in the new year.
