One of the reasons why policing in Delhi is so
ineffective is that in this city, VIP security
trumps public safety. 3 policemen are deployed
for the safety of a single VIP, while there is 1
cop on average for as many as 761 citizens. It
also doesn't help that we have a chief minister
who enjoys huge power seemingly without
responsibility and makes insensitive comments too.
