Apple unveiled a smaller version of its hot-
selling iPad on Tuesday, taking aim at the
smaller tablet computers offered by rivals
Amazon, Google and Samsung. "This is iPad
mini," Apple's senior vice president for
marketing Phil Schiller said as he displayed the
new iPad at an Apple event in San Jose. In a
surprise, Apple also revamped its flagship,
full-sized iPad just six months after the
launch of the latest model.
