A day after Salman Khurshid issued a veiled threat against IAC members going to his constituency, a Sunday Guardian reporter has been attacked by his supporters. The Sunday Guardian is a sister concern of NewsX and its reporter Abhinandan Mishra had gone to Farrukhabad to investigate the allegations levelled against Khurshid by India Against Corruption member Arvind Kejriwal. As per Abhinandan, he was warned in the morning around ten, against going into Pithora village which falls in the constituency, by some locals on motorbikes. They threatened him with dire consequences if he did. In the afternoon, as Abhinandan was heading to Kayamganj, another area in the constituency, he was surrounded by bike borne assailants who abused him and then pelted him with stones. The assailants said they were Salman Khurshid's supporters, but are yet to be named.
