The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on
Saturday raided seven places in the country in
connection with the former army chief General
VK Singh bribery case. The raids are still on,
reports said. An FIR was registered against Lt
Gen Tejinder Singh under prevention of
corruption act.
Gen VK Singh had disclosed in a press release
that he was offered a kickback of Rs 14 crore
by a retired defence officer in exchange for
clearing a tranche of 600 all-terrain Tatra
trucks for the army, which he described as
sub-standard.
