Badal to meet President with appeal for clemency for Beant Singh's assassin
The pressure to stop the hanging of Babbar Khalsa terrorist Balwant Singh Rajoana is building up on the Punjab government. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal is expected to meet President Pratibha Patil in Delhi late in the evening today and is likely to appeal for clemency.
