India's misfiring batsmen again threw away all the good work of the bowlers, but the Men in Blue got past the finish line thanks to a gritty show by the lower order. R Ashwin was the star of the show as far as Indians were concerned. The off-spinner picked up three wickets, and then scored 30 crucial runs to help the team secure an important victory. Ravindra Jadeja also played a pivotal role with an unbeaten 24. 48 runs came off Sachin Tendulkar's bat, while rising star Virat Kohli top-scored with 77.
