Hot India Video - 2G scam: Ruias, Khaitans ignore Delhi court

In a twist to the 2G scam case, the Ruias and Khaitans, promoters of Essar and Loop respectively, ignored summons to appear in the Delhi court handling the 2G scam. Lawyers defending the companies, said they had not appeared as they had not been served summons at their official residences in Dubai. Lawyers note that the law clearly shows that summons should be sent to the place, where the person resides. The court has now issued fresh summons to the offenders. The four promoters of Loop and Essar are Non Resident Indians. The companies have accused of criminal conspiracy.
