Seventeen deaths in 72 hours, it is encephalitis nightmare in Gorakhpur. All the beds at the Gorakhpur Medical College are taken, mostly by children suffering from Acute Encephalitis Syndrome, a more dangerous form of the disease than Japanese encephalitis.
