BMC Mayor Election

It could be a rubber stamp post but every political party wants it, because of the prestige associated to it. The Mayor elections will be held today at 11 am at the BMC headquarters. Political parties are trying hard to get over there the main two parties are Congress that sits in the opposition and the Shiv Sena that currently holds the post. However, the so-called kingmaker MNS has really got a minuscule role to play with its six corporators. The party had already pledged to support the Congress and cannot go against it or else the corporators would be disqualified. However, another news, that the MNS wants to stay neutral because, they do not want to loose their vote bank by supporting Congress.
