Is the IPL killing the Ranji trophy?
For the longest time, there was the Ranji Trophy. For 73 years. And then came the Indian Premier League. 2 years old. To the Indian selection panel, the IPL seemed good enough to replace the Ranji Trophy as the testing ground for kids. Good? Bad? Or, as we feel, downright ugly?
